1. Is there any cost to the church? Absolutely not! There is never any cost to the church for the directories. We even give you plenty of extras for new members, also at no cost to the church. 2. How can you do this for free, what’s the catch? There’s no catch! We are able to provide the directories free (and also free portraits to each participating family) through funds that are provided through portrait sales. We do not obligate anyone to purchase, but many families appreciate the opportunity to purchase additional portraits. Church directory programs are one of the few remaining opportunities for families to have a professional portrait done by professional photographers. 3. Is there sales pressure involved? Our company was founded by a pastor, who had experienced sales pressure in one of the churches he pastored. When he formed our company, it became his passionate commitment to never allow his employees to use sales pressure of any kind. It was one of our founding principles! 4. What do the families receive for participating in the portrait sessions? Each participating family receives a free directory and a free portrait. We are the only company that allows your families to choose the size of their free portrait. They may choose a free 8 x 10, or if they prefer a 5 x 7 or 4x6; even a set of wallets! 5. Do you stay on schedule during the portrait sessions? Yes, we have longer appointment times than the industry standard. This gives us time to spend crafting the perfect poses for your families and avoid long wait times. 6. How do families make their appointments? We provide two different ways. We have a very easy to use online scheduling system and we provide printed schedule sheets to use on Sunday mornings after worship. We will even provide staff to handle up to 2 Sunday signup sessions, if the church requests it. In addition, we provide reminder calls and email reminders for your families also at no charge. 7. How many volunteers do we need to run the program? None! We only need a person who will coordinate with our team. We will handle the hosting and directory layout process. 8. How long does it take to get our directories? It takes about 2 weeks to ship the directories after the proof is approved. The proofing process typically takes 7 - 10 days depending on how many activity pages the church requires and any other special requests by the church. If the church would like to design their own activity pages and/or cover, we will accept pdf, jpeg, psd, indesign, illustrator, and publisher files. Otherwise just email us your activity pictures and we will design the pages and complete the layout for you at no charge! 9. Do you provide promotional materials? Yes, we provide posters, postcards, flyers and we if requested we will make a complimentary telephone announcement of the upcoming program to all members. These are all provided free of charge to the church. 10. How often do churches normally do a new directory program? Families expect a new directory every few years. We do not recommend doing one any earlier or later than a 4 or 5-year cycle.
